The ongoing development of The Brainless Dancer amplify how agency, vulnerability, and power are negotiated between bodies, and how the gaze becomes an active force that produces change within shared space with sonic installation.
While the work continuously investigates how interaction between performer and audience can generate bodily transformation, a live sonic installation by Cosmo Schüppel captured and amplified the mechanical system that transforms the body. Allowing sound to function as feedback and making the audience more aware of their collective impact on the performer. Through this setup, the performance creates a shared sensory space where bodily transformation is experienced across multiple levels: visually, sonically, and spatially.
The project continues to develop through ongoing experimentation with materials and technologies.
